I’m only one beer away from the halfway mark to 1000 beers! It’s taken me a little over 2.5 years to get this far, but I’m hoping it won’t take me as long to finish. I’ve found the reviews take quite a bit of time, and when I go on a trip – like I did to Seattle last month – I tend to rack up a lot of new beers, with not much time to do the reviews. I’m hoping to get a little better about doing the reviews a little more quickly.
To celebrate the halfway mark, I’m throwing a bit of a virtual party on this site! During the next week, I’m planning a few activities. First, I’ve got a beer fridge with about 100 different beers in it (no exaggeration), as I’ve been sent a few beers from breweries, collected a few rare beers I’ve been waiting to drink, and been given beers by friends and family. Therefore, I’m going to choose a handfull of these beers and ask you to vote on which beer I should make #500.
Second, I’ve gotten a few things from various beer related companies to give away! So keep an eye out this week to sign up for the various giveaways.
Finally, I’m in the process of re-designing the website, so I’m hoping to kick off the next half of my journey with a newly designed site.
