The next giveaway for my halfway to 1000 beers celebration is a bottle opener from Resource Revival.
The company, based in Oregon, creates some really fun, functional products from recycled bicycle parts. Every year, bike shops all over the United States send them tons of tons of greasy, used parts and their team of artists tinker with them until new products are born.
Most recently, the company launched a new site – www.BikeChainBottleOpener.com – and sent me a few to share with you!
I got these in the mail last week and have had a chance to play with them a bit. The bike chain has a substantial feel when you hold it in your hand, yet the chain still makes it flexible and easy to hold.
The long one (above) has a nice feel and the chain makes it fun to play around with. The key chain size ones have a cool look and are lighter and portable.
If you want to win one, simply comment below by Midnight on Friday and we’ll choose three winners.
UPDATE:
Thanks again to random.org for helping me make the selections. The numbers selected were 3, 15, and 17. Congrats to Stephen, Adam, and Robb & Amber. I’m making arrangements with each to get them their cool bike chain bottle openers. If you didn’t win, you can still pick them up at http://www.BikeChainBottleOpener.com. Thanks again to them for providing them for my halfway to 1000 beers party.

Awesome…great to take along training. If my chain breaks while out, I can borrow a link from it. Otherwise the application on post-ride beer(s) is a given.
