Location: Poured into a Sam Adams Perfect pint glass at my home in Bloomington, IL
Numbers: 6% ABV, 65 IBUs, 14° OG, ~180 Calories
Appearance & Aroma: It’s bright yellow in color, and extremely clear, with a good amount of carbonation in it. When I poured it, it had a huge, fluffy white head which stuck around for several minutes. The aroma is very tropical-citrus fruit like with hints of melon.
Taste & Feel: The body is medium and the mouthfeel is pretty creamy. The flavor up front is lightly peppery and citrusy, and a little bit a light malt sweetness comes through in the middle. However, the hops really blossom in the finish with lots of tropical flavors and bitterness. Theses flavors last a minute or two in the aftertaste.
Food Pairing: This beer has a lot of tropical flavors, and I think it would be a great pairing with a summer salad, sushi, or naked pork chops.
Overall Impression: I was surprised at the bright hop flavors in this beer. It was a very unique flavor for a pale ale and pretty refreshing. The tropical flavors are a great fit for the beach or a hot summer day. Huge thanks to my friend @Bettywriter for sending this, and great job John on a different take on the standard pale ale.

This is not a pale ale. It is an IPA. They should call it what it is. Good as an IPA but way out of style for a pale ale.
