It was a hazy darker orange color and had a thin head on it. The hop aroma was immediately noticeable, and it seemed to be primarily a citrusy and grassy type smell.
It had a light body and was crisp and refreshing (and exactly what I needed after running around town). The citrusy hop flavor was immediately noticeable. However, there was bit of maltiness that came through to match it. In the finish, I did notice a hint of floralness, but the citrusy hop flavor stuck around in my mouth for a while.
It’s a pretty drinkable beer for hopheads, and went down pretty quick on this hot day. I’m thinking it would go well with pizza or friend foods since it was drinkable, but those foods might cut back on the hop flavors in your mouth. Overall, this was a pretty good beer, and I’m sure I’ll eventually have to try it in the can.
