The Mad Hatter was extremely clear and was a light amber color. It had a nice, very creamy head (as you can see here), with a nice light floral-type hop aroma and maybe a bit citrusy.
It had a light-medium body which was very creamy like the head. It had a nice toasty malty flavor a first, which gave way to a big citrusy and floral hoppiness. The floral hoppiness stuck around for a while in my mouth, which was nice.
As I continued to drink it, it was like rejuvenating the hop flavor in my mouth each time, and the lacing it left on the glass was very nice. It went perfectly with our pizza, and overall, was a great beer. The creaminess, mixed with the slight malty toastiness before the big hop flavor was great. I think I may have to get this one again, and maybe pick up a 6 pack of it for myself sometime.
