As you can see, I drank it straight from the bottle, but I’ve had on draft, so I do know that it is clear and a yellowish/orange color. It usually has a pretty decent head on it when I pour it, but it usually falls pretty quickly.
It has a slight bit of a grain smell and I think a hint of the beechwood. It has a hint of hops noticeable in the nose. The body is very light and the carbonation is very noticeable when drinking it.
The taste is fairly watery with some slightly bready or yeasty flavors noticeable. While the hops are noticeable, they are still fairly light.
The bottle says that it has “full flavor,” but this has a little more flavor than Bud, but a lot more than Bud Light. So I think it’s a good one to get not frequent beer drinkers to try something different without taking a risk, and for that reason, it’s a good one to have on hand at a party like this one. It pretty much goes well with any food and is good for a hot day.
