Deja Vu All Over Again. Another Duplication.

Yogi Berra Deja Vu All over again
To quote a native of my hometown of St. Louis, and baseball Hall of Famer, Yogi Berra, “it’s like deja vu all over again.”

In researching other beers I’ve had from 2nd Shift Brewing in St. Louis, I realized that I had mistakenly had their El Gato Grande IPA twice. It was listed as 410. 2nd Shift Brewing – El Gato Grande AIPA and 899. 2nd Shift Brewing – El Gato Grande IPA.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had to correct myself on my journey to 1000 beers, as I discovered one duplication in 2012, and yet another in 2014. Both times I simply jumped back and duplicated numbers – instead of going back and changing all of the numbers. Therefore, since I just reviewed 925. Founders – Curmudgeon’s Better Half, my next review (the 2nd Shift beer I was just researching) will also be #925.

If there are any other duplications, I hope I find them soon, since I’m nearing the final stretch with only about 75 more beers to go. As I head to the finish line, most of the beers I have left will be big – gotta have – beers that I’ve been cellaring for a while or beers that have been given to me as gifts by friends and family. Stay tuned!
